Third Candidate Enters Bridgewater Mayoral Race

A third candidate is throwing their hat in the ring to become Bridgewater’s next mayor.

Greg Ritcey is announcing his plan to run in this fall’s municipal election.

Ritcey was a councillor from 2008-2012.

He says he’s excited to get back into municipal politics.

“I like supporting this town,” he says. “I would like to see it move forward, and I know that with the guidance of a new council and the citizens of Bridgewater we can make this community move ahead.”

He says current Mayor David Walker has done a great job over the last four years, and he has a lot of respect for David Mitchell, the other running mate.

“I’ve worked with both Davids on town council and I look forward to an interesting debate.”

Municipal elections will take place on October 15th.
