A significant boost for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.
Roughly 140 people attended the ‘100 Couples Who Give A Crap’ dinner and silent auction over the weekend in Bridgewater.
The final fundraising total hasn’t been determined but is believed to be between 11 and $12-thousand.
Organizer Jody O’Donnell says he’s pleased with the results.
“Lat year was our first year and we raised just shy of $10,000. We had less people out this year, but raised more funds. The ones that were there spent a little more money, which is nice to see.”
O’Donnell will now turn his attention to another fundraiser for Crohn’s and Colitis.
The fourth annual ‘Gutsy Walk’ is scheduled for June 5.
