The warden of the Municipality of Chester is hoping to keep his seat after this fall’s election.
Allen Webber was first elected to council almost 35 years ago.
He says he hasn’t quite finished all the work he wanted to, and he’d like the opportunity to see it through.
“I made a committment last election to try to generate revenue,” he says, “and lessen the burden on the taxpayer. Although we’ve gone some way to do that I think there’s more could be done and I’d like to do that.”
Webber says he still feels he has something to offer the community.
He says he’s looking forward to hitting the streets over the next few months.
