Mayor Rachel Bailey says town operations run very lean.
“The staff has been diligent in looking at what we do expend for operating and there is not a lot of excess, there has never been.”
Bailey says the town has also taken on a number of infrastructure projects in order to take advantage of matching funding from the province and federal government.
