RCMP are investigating a fatal house fire in Mill Village.
Queens District RCMP responded to a suspicious house fire at around 11:50 yesterday morning.
The police were called to the scene by a local fire department, who said the house was fully engulfed in flames upon their arrival.
Human remains were found as a result of the investigation.
Both RCMP and the Fire Marshall’s office will remain on the scene while the investigation continues.
It’s the second fatal fire on the South Shore in two days.
In a release, the RCMP extended their thoughts to the family of the victim.
