Four in ten Nova Scotians are satisfied with the McNeil government’s performance.
Those are the latest numbers collected between May 3 and 25 by Corporate Research Associates.
Liberal support had been in decline the previous two quarters prior to the May 30 election.
The PCs and NDP were in a virtual dead heat at 29 and 28% support respectively.
Seventeen percent of Nova Scotians were undecided on which party they would prefer.
Premier Stephen McNeil enjoys the most personal popularity of the three major party leaders at 30%.
And with 22%, the PC’s Jamie Baillie slightly edged out NDP leader Gary Burril at 19%.
Twenty percent of those polled didn’t offer an opinion.
