Kids will be able to pick up free helmets and get their bike inspected before taking to the track this weekend.
Michelin Junior Bike helps teach youngsters about two wheel safety.
Police will be there to make sure kids aren’t pedalling away without their helmet.
Deborah Carty of Michelin Canada, says it’s a great opportunity for the community.
“The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, that the kids have a great time,” she says, “but it also allows someone else to teach the rules of the road. They have a wonderful time and make new friends.”
Online registration is closed but Carty says they’re still taking walk ins.
The event is open for children between five and 11 years old.
Things will kick off at 10am outside the LCLC.
