Trial Rescheduled For Mother Accused Of Criminal Negligence Causing Death

The trial of a Mount Pleasant woman charged with criminal negligence causing the death of her nine-year-old daughter has been rescheduled.

Jury selection was expected to begin today in the case of Candice Roxanne Moore.

However, Crown Attorney Michelle MacDonald says it’s been adjourned due to a death in the family of a main witness.

Nine-year-old Olive Moore died in January 2013 after a van ran her over in a driveway in Pleasantville.

The trial is now scheduled for March 7-11.
