Volunteer Believes Hospital Hustle Ready For Its Best Year

An annual fundraiser for Queens General Hospital is set to go tomorrow.

The Hospital Hustle has been around for almost 40 years.

There was fear it could be cancelled when lead organizers retired.

Long-time volunteer Gary Levy says some keen community leaders stepped up and it’s shaping up to be the best year to date.

“Last year we gave just over $17,000 and this year is going to look really good, around $18,000 to $20,000, I would say.”

The Hospital Hustle will be held at the Liverpool curling club Saturday from 10 a.m until 2 p.m.

Money raised goes to buy equipment for the hospital.
