The new chair of the Hospital Hustle organizing committee is all smiles.
Mallory Daury says the community stepped up on Saturday, helping to raise over $23,000.
The group set a goal of $20,000.
Daury says more money is expected to be collected in the next few weeks.
It will go towards medical equipment at Queens General Hospital in Liverpool.
She credits the hard work of volunteers to help make the event a success.
