Paula Fairfield won an Emmy award for best sound editing.
She creates sounds for dragons and other creatures on the HBO series ‘Game of Thrones.’
Fairfield grew up in Bridgewater but now lives in Los Angeles.
She graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
This is her first Emmy award but has been nominated several times.
The main Emmy Award show is scheduled for Sunday.
