If you’re planning to hit the trail at one of Canada’s national parks this year you’re not alone.
Sophie Borcoman, Visitor Experience Manager at Kejimkujik National Park says she’s seen an increase in attendance this year.
She says it’s mostly due to the ‘Discovery Pass’ which offers free entrance to any national park in the country.
“Over all our reservations for our roofed accomdations; our oTENTiks, rustic cabins, and campsites are up 36% this year.”
She says the increase is extraordinary.
Borcoman says it’s great to get a chance to show off what Canada has to offer.
