Nova Scotia’s minister of natural resources is taking a leave of absense.
Lloyd Hines has been advised by his doctor to step away from his ministerial duties to address a personal health issue.
Premier Stephen McNeil is wishing Hines a quick return to good health.
“We’re wishing Lloyd and Patricia all the best as he goes through some health challenges. This is very fortunate, it was picked up by his doctor. He’s looking forward to having a procedure and getting back to work.”
The former Minister of Natural Resources, Zach Churchill, will replace Hines on an interim basis.
