The province is handing out money to support two film and TV productions.
The French country music television series, Pour l’amour du country is getting a shot in the arm to the tune of $293,575.
The series is produced in Nova Scotia and airs on Radio Canada.
Grassfire Films whose movies include Rhonda’s Party and When You Sleep will get close to $60,000 for a new feature Train Whistle Does Not Blow.
The money is coming from the province’s new Nova Scotia Film and Television Production Incentive Fund that replaced the film tax credit July 1st.
