People living in parts of Southwest Nova Scotia will have to travel if they have an emergency.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority says emergency departments at the hospitals in Shelburne and Digby will be closed today until tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.
The emergency rooms will close again Sunday at 8 a.m. for 24 hours.
A doctor is not available.
People should call 911 if there is an emergency.
