Order Of Nova Scotia Accepting Nominations

The Lt. Gov is encouraging Nova Scotians to nominate people for the Order of Nova Scotia.

Lt. Gov Arthur J. LeBlanc, chancellor of the order of Nova Scotia, says they’re looking for citizens who have improved the lives of others or who have excelled in their respective fields.

“Appointment to the Order of Nova Scotia is a wonderful opportunity to recognize such worthy individuals,” said LeBlanc in a press release.

The Order was created in 2001 and since its creation 93 Nova Scotians have received the honour.

Nomination forms are available at Access Nova Scotia Centres, Province House in Halifax, MLA and MP offices, municipal offices and online at the Order of Nova Scotia website.

The deadline for consideration is March 16.
