The Barrington Exhibition is in need of helping hands and money.
The group has requested $10,000 from the municipality for maintenance work to several buildings and existing infrastructure.
Warden Eddie Nickerson says the group is also desperate for volunteers.
“If more volunteers don’t step up and help out, it could affect the future of the exhibition.”
Nickerson says the annual event held in August is a draw to the community.
The financial request will be discussed by the municipality during its budget deliberations.
