A student from New Germany Rural High School has been named the Health Services Foundation’s big giver.
Alex Joudrey is this year’s recipient.
He received the award recently during the foundation’s annual general meeting.
The 16 year-old is a long-time volunteer with the foundation’s Radiothon and Hit it For Health golf tournament.
Joudrey was given the award by his sister, Emma, who won the award last year.
The Big Giver Award is given to a South Shore student in grade 10-12 who has either raised funds or awareness about the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore.
