Outdoor movies in Bridgewater are back on the big screen this summer.
Fresh Air Films is returning to Shipyard’s Landing on Friday nights, starting this week with Sing; an animated comedy for the entire family.
President Tony Lantz says a team of eight people helped choose the movies to show this summer.
“We go through a licensing website, we don’t have access to every movie under the sun and have guidelines to work within. It has been interesting. There have been some movies we’ve wanted to show but we don’t have the licensing rights and have to go a different route.”
There is no cost to attend the movie but Lantz says they welcome donations to help provide the service.
Eight movies will be shown until August 25.
They include:
July 7 – Sing
July 14 – 10 Things I Hate About You
July 21 – Viewer’s Choice
July 28 – The Sting
August 4 – Moana
August 11 – Jaws
August 18 – Ghostbusters (2016)
August 25 – Star Wars: Rogue One
