Patients, Families, Community Members Asked To Participate In Cancer Services Survey

A survey is being conducted as part of an ongoing review of cancer services at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital.

The review also seeks to determine if radiation services would be feasible.

Nova Scotia Health Authority spokesperson Kristen Lipscombe says the survey is an important part of the review.

“We’re always looking to improve, that’s why we want to hear about people’s experiences.”

One of the questions asks “what issues do you think the Nova Scotia Health Authority needs to consider in making a decision about the possibility of opening a radiation treatment centre in Yarmouth?”

It’s available both online and on paper.
