Pitbull owners charged with animal cruelty lose custody of dogs.
24 dogs including several puppies were taken from a home in North Preston earlier this month by the SPCA.
Makell and Warren Cain filed an appeal with the Province’s Agriculture Department and lost.
The SPCA now has custody of the dogs and puppies and are getting them ready to be adopted.
The Cains are charged under the Animal Protection Act and will be in court to face those charges next month.
