A man has been taken to hospital after he was pinned between a tractor and trailer this afternoon in Lunenburg County.
Members of the Italy Cross, Middlewood and District Fire Department were called to a wooded area near the Wilson Road around 12:45.
RCMP say a man was working in the woods using a tractor to haul wood.
He drove through a rut and became trapped.
The man was freed by first responders and was transported to hospital in what is believed to be serious condition.
Police did not provide the man’s name but he is 70 years-old from Middlewood.
His family have been notified of the incident.
Firefighters from Bridgewater were also called to the scene for help.
