It’s time to get outside and get in touch with nature.
Today is Canada’s Parks Day.
There are 130 provincial parks and many are hosting events such as barbeques and wildflower walks.
On the South Shore you can visit Ellenwood Lake provincial park in Yarmouth county to enjoy a scavenger hunt from 11:45am – 1pm.
And Rissers Beach in Lunenburg County will host a sandcastle competition from 11am-4pm.
