A walk to raise awareness for those dealing with crohn’s disease and colitis was a huge success. Bridgewater’s “Gutsy Walk” pulled in more than $17,000 over the weekend. It featured over 225 participants in the five kilometre walk or run which began at Shipyards Landing. Chair Jody O’Donnell says he’s extremely pleased with the support of the community. It was the first year for the “Gutsy Walk” in Bridgewater. O’Donnell says they have already committed to hold the event in 2015.
