An Antigonish man is facing a number of charges after driving away while he was pulled over for speeding. Police found the car a short time later. It had been involved in a head-on collision in near Brookland Street. The 27-year-old had fled the vehicle, but police were able to locate him nearby.
He will face charges of impaired driving, dangerous operation of the vehicle, flight from police, and failureto remain at the scene of an accident.
The two people in the other car suffered minor injuries.
