More Charges Laid Against People Attempting To Intimidate A Witness

Two more men have been charged for their roles in attempting to intimidate a justice participant.

Fifty-one year-old Alden Oliver and 43 year-old Sean Simms of Hammonds Plains have been arrested.

Fifty-four year-old Craig Swinimer of Western Shore was charged Monday after allegedly entering a home of someone involved in a criminal case before the courts.

Constable Mark Skinner says it’s a serious matter.

“We certainly want the sytem to function as it should and any attempts to intimidate or negatively influence any witnesses will certainly result in a police investigation.”

Skinner says a justice participant is considered a witness.

However, he would not provide details about the court case.
