Boston Christmas Tree

The Boston Christmas tree won’t be coming from the South Shore this year.

But they didn’t stray too far to find one.

The 72 year-old white spruce has been donated by Bill and Andrea MacEachern of Pictou County and tops out at 49 feet.

The tree will be cut on November 17th and then make its way to Boston for the tree lighting ceremony on December 6th.

The MacEacherns says they’re proud to be able to do this on behalf of Nova Scotia.

The last time a tree from the South Shore was selected was 2013
