The Woodstock Slammers built a 5-1 lead and then hung on to edge the South Shore Junior A Lumberjacks 5-4 last night in Bridgewater.
The ‘Jacks scored three times in the last three and a half minutes but couldn’t quite complete the comeback.
Tristan d’Entermont had two goals for the Jacks who outshot the Slammers 43-16.
The Lumberjacks are in the Valley tonight to face off against the Wildcats.
