Football players from Lunenburg County helped Nova Scotia teams secure medals recently at the under-16 Atlantic Bowl and Eastern Challenge at Acadia.
The Bluenosers topped Ontario 35-21 in the finals of the Eastern Challenge.
The team featured Logan Taylor of Lunenburg, Zach Hamm of Hebbville, Ryan Arenburg of Oakhill and John Fisher of Chester.
Taylor was also named the tournament’s defensive MVP.

Logan Sangster of Bridgewater and Nova Scotia White claimed the six-on-six finals of the Atlantic Bowl with a 46-38 victory over New Brunswick.
Talon White of Chester helped Nova Scotia Blue to a bronze medal win, 44-30, over Prince Edward Island.
