The RCMP is looking for help in finding a unique item in Lunenburg County.
Police say a home on Middle Road in Kingsburg was broken into between last September and July 17, 2017.
Among the items stolen was a brass weather vane in the shape of a whale.
The item was owned by Captain Angus Walters who skippered the Bluenose, and it holds sentimental and historical value.
Anyone with information about the weather vane is asked to contact Lunenburg District RCMP at (902) 527-5555.
