A Liverpool woman accused of criminal negligence in the death of her sister has been released on bail.
Twenty-six year-old Meghan Elizabeth Nowe appeared in Bridgewater provincial court on Wednesday.
A $10,000 surety was agreed upon by lawyers and she will be placed under house arrest.
Nowe spent nearly seven weeks in custody after charges were laid against her on June 9.
Those charges include manslaughter, breach of probation and drug trafficking after allegedly providing methadone to her younger sister, Allison Ann Nowe, of Bridgewater.
The 22 year-old was taken to South Shore Regional Hospital on April 28 where she later died.
Meghan Nowe is due back in court on September 7.
