History comes back to life this weekend along the Barrington River.
The Atlantic Living History Association is holding a reenactment of the lives of New England Planters.
People will portray clothing from the 1760s.
There will be demonstrations of making butter, ice cream and candles, and razor and tool sharpening.
The reenactment is open to anyone from 10 a.m until 5 p.m Saturday and Sunday and 10 a.m until 2 p.m on Monday.
People can also check out the history of the New England Planters at museums in Barrington, Cape Sable Island and Woods Harbour.
