Gas Thieves Strike at White Point Beach Resort

A large amount of gasoline has been stolen from White Point Beach Resort in Queens County.

RCMP say the incident happened during the early morning hours Monday.

Police responded to an alarm sounding at the resort and an open maintenance shed.

The mounties say there doesn’t appear to be anything missing from the facility but gasoline was taken from nearby fuel tanks.

Police didn’t give an exact quantity but say it would require large storage tanks to transport.

Anyone with information should contact Queens RCMP at (902) 354-5721.
