Middlewood Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges

Three people are facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Middlewood Wednesday evening.

South Shore Integrated Street Crime Unit and Lunenburg RCMP pulled a vehicle over on Camperdown School Rd just before 6:00pm.

Police seized a quantity of cocaine, cash and a can of bear spray.

31-year-old Kandice Darlene Regan, of Hebbville, 25-year-old Autumn Dawn Roy, of Middlewood and 24-year-old Michael Rene Kelley, of Bridgewater are charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.

Regan and Kelley are also facing weapons charges.

The three people made an appearance in Bridgewater Provincial Court yesterday and were remanded in to custody.

They’re scheduled to make a second appearance this morning at 9:30 a.m.
