South Shore residents didn’t just come to play at the 55+ games last weekend in Lunenburg County, they came to win.
Co-chair Carroll Randall says the majority of medalists were from our region.
“The South South region did very well. We don’t like to brag but we had the most medal wins of all locations,” says Randall.
He says over 375 medalists were crowned.
Those who won will have the opportunity to go to nationals in Saint John next year.
Randall adds planning for the 2019 provincials has already begun.
Those games will be held in Antigonish.
