Statistics Canada is looking to hire roughly 1,300 people in Nova Scotia to help with this year’s census.
Employment will last between two and four months, depending on the position.
Regional Director, Martine Lamontagne, says they are looking for both supervisory and non supervisory positions.
“Mainly it’s enumerators jobs, which are people who will knock on doors and follow up on census questionnaires that have not been received yet.”
The pay rate for the positions range between roughly 16 and 20 dollars an hour.
