A familiar foe knocked out the Charlie’s Pizza South Shore Mustangs at the East Coast Ice Jam tournament in Halifax.
The Cape Breton West Islanders doubled the Mustangs 4-2 on Saturday to eliminate the South Shore club.
Travis Parks and Dawson Wood scored for the Mustangs.
Meanwhile, the O’Regan’s Subaru Western Hurricanes finished 0-3 in the major bantam group and failed to advance to playoff round.
