Nova Scotia is currently under a special weather statement.
We’ll get a bit of a break on the South Shore today and tomorrow.
However, Environment Canada says it’s the calm before the storm.
Meteorologist, Rob Robichaud says a system is expected to track across the province intensifying west of Halifax.
“Anywhere west of Halifax will see a bit more snow than rain. But, some rain mixed in there as well. Any deviation of the track, which is quite possible 48 hours ahead of time, will have an impact on snowfall amounts,” said Robichaud.
Robichaud says it’s too early to tell how much, but we could get 15-20 cms with more rain expected near the coast.
The Wednesday morning commute will be affected the most.
