Today is the busiest day of the year for Canada Post.
Spokesperson for the company, Anick Losier , says online Christmas shopping combined with the weekend created the perfect storm.
“We’re going to be delivering, throughout the country, around 3,400 parcels per minute today,”she says.
Losier says well over a million packages will be delivered by the end of the day.
She says that’s up more than 10% from last year.
Losier says there’s still time to send presents to loved ones, but you’ll have to shell out a little more for express shipping.
