Painting, Auction Supports Hinchinbrook Farm

People will explore their inner artist in a fundraiser for Hinchinbrook Farm.

A Paint Nite social and auction will help support programming and operations at the farm in Blockhouse.

That includes therapeutic riding for children with special needs.

Coordinator Kim Carlow-Berkeley says an artist will help all participants paint a portrait.

“It’s sort of a fall scene with like a little bridge, black and white, grey tones with some red. It’s usually a fun time.”

There will also be local musicians performing throughout the event.

The event gets underway Saturday at 7 p.m at the Mahone Bay Centre and will be emceed by Patrick Hirtle.

Carlow-Berkeley says Hinchinbrook is also in need of adult volunteers.

You can contact the farm if you’re able to help.
