The Nova Scotia Health Authority sent out an advisory last Friday.
Spokesperson Fraser Mooney says they are still trying to get an assessment of water damage in the building in Barrington Passage.
He says until then, it’s difficult to say when services will resume.
“We’ve been working with the building owners to get a better understanding of the full extent of the water damage. We’re going to be doing a more complete assessment of the area this week and then we should have a better idea of how long it’s going to take to remedy the situation.”
Mooney says a heavy rain last week brought the leak situation to a head.
Those who require bloodwork can visit Roseway Hospital in Shelburne or Yarmouth Regional Hospital.
Collection hours are Monday to Friday 8am-11am at Roseway and 7:30-11:30 am in Yarmouth.
