The third annual Lunenburg Doc Fest gets underway Thursday.
Over four days, nine features will be screened along with a number of short programs.
All showings will be held at the Lunenburg Opera House.
There will be question and answer sessions for attendees to meet the directors of some of the films being presented.
Awards will be presented for best Feature Documentary, Atlantic Filmmaker and Short Film.
A new audience award will also be presented for the first time this year.
The festival runs from September 22 – 25th.
