The Region of Queens has chosen a company to build their new skate park.
Propour Concrete Services Inc. of Hubbards was selected out of five companies who bid on the project.
The company is no stranger to this type of work after building the skate park in Chester.
The work is budgeted to cost $360,000.
The skate park will be located near Queens Place Emera Centre.
It is currently being designed by Spectrum SkatePark Inc. of Vancouver, B.C.
The park is expected to feature components like a street element section, multi-depth bowl and a BMX or mountain bike trail.
