Nova Scotia Man Facing Charges After Disturbance On Passenger Bus In Salisbury

A 52-year old man from Nova Scotia is facing several charges after a disturbance on a passenger bus in Salisbury, New Brunswick.

Monday afternoon around 1, Riverview RCMP were called about a man who threatened another passenger while holding a knife.

Nobody was injured, and the man fled the scene on foot before being arrested a short time later at a local business.

Edward Conrad of Lunenburg, NS faces three charges: committing an assault with a weapon, carrying a weapon for a purpose of committing an offence and uttering a threat.

Conrad will undergo a 30 day psychiatric assessment and has a scheduled bail hearing for October 31st.
