Monday Calls For Turkey and Rain

People on the South Shore have one more reason to be thankful tomorrow…rain is headed our way.

Environment Canada is forecasting 30-40 millimeters will fall across the South Shore over the next 24 hours.

But, Meteorologist Ming Szeto says wet weather won’t last.

“Looks like rain is going to end Monday, Monday morning, Monday afternoon, depending on where you are,” he says, “and then after that not much in the way of rain. Even all the way to Thursday we’re looking at mostly a mix of sun and cloud.”

Szeto says a slight shift could mean closer to 50 millimeters could fall in South West Nova Scotia.

He suggests keeping an eye on the Environment Canada website in case they have to issue a heavy rainfall warning.
