While most people in Bridgewater are enjoying turkey on Monday, construction crews will be hard at work.
King Street From Dufferin to Old Bridge will be closed to traffic in both directions from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The bridge itself will still be accessible for both cars and pedestrians.
Patrick Hirtle, spokesperson for the town, says the closure will allow some of the last of the underground water work to be completed.
He says work earlier this week went off without any major difficulties and crews were even able to get electricity run to some street lamps in the area.
The $5-million project is expected to be complete by the end of the month.
