The RCMP is looking for a man who tried to force his way into a home in Chester.
Police say the attempted home invasion occurred around 12:15 a.m Sunday on Pig Loop Road.
Lunenburg County District RCMP say a preliminary investigation indicates the man tried to enter the home but was unsuccessful.
As the suspect was leaving the property on foot, police say the home owner ran outside and fired a gun.
There were no injuries.
Police seized the gun.
