A 78 year-old man from the Chester area has died after a boat overturned this morning in Lunenburg County.
RCMP were called shortly before 8 a.m to a boating accident in Hoop Pole Lake near David Collicutt Road in Canaan.
Two people fell into the water and one man became trapped underneath.
He was unable to be rescued.
Both were wearing PFDs at the time.
RCMP continue to investigate with help from the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.
