Two Charged Following Major Drug Bust In Yarmouth

The RCMP conducted a major drug bust following two searches in Yarmouth May 30.

The Yarmouth-Clare RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with the help of Yarmouth RCMP and a RCMP police dog team, seized over $35,000 in cash, two modified handguns, and what they describe as a significant amount of methamphetamine pills, marihuana, and cocaine, as well as steroid pills.

Two men were arrested following the searches.

Fourty-five-year-old Andrew Nhi Van Pham, formerly of Yarmouth and 41-year-old Robert Thomas Greenslade of Yarmouth are facing the following charges:

· Trafficking Cocaine
· Trafficking Methamphetamine
· Trafficking in Cannabis
· Possession of Cocaine
· Possession of Methamphetamine
· Possession of Cannabis
· Conspire to commit an indictable offence x 2
· Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose x 2
· Careless use of a firearm x 2
· Unsafe storage of a firearm x 2
· Possession of a Prohibited Weapon x 2

Both men were remanded and are set to appear in Yarmouth Provincial Court June 3.

The investigation is ongoing.
