UPDATE: Intimate Images Case Returns To Court

A brief court appearance today for two lawyers representing half a dozen teens accused of sharing intimate images of more than 20 young girls.

Defence lawyer Alan Ferrier says additional meetings and discussions are needed at this time.

He says it’s a complex case due to the amount of evidence, young people and charges.

Two 18 year-olds and four 15 year-olds have also been charged with possessing and distributing child pornography.

Their identities are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

No pleas have been entered.

CBC News is applying to try and gain access to search warrant records from the police investigation, which started last May.

A full-day hearing is scheduled in Bridgewater on December 12.
